After watching both types of boats, I think it's pretty safe to say that while the multi-hulls looked faster..the mono-hulls created many more 'wow' moments. The closeness of the boats while racing was very intense and exciting. During actual competition I realize those close calls can result in penalty but the potential is still there. I believe the mono-hulls allowed for a more intimate viewing experience and strikes a balance between traditional America's cup sailing and the speed of the multi-hulls. My vote is overwhelmingly for mono's. Well done on the trials gentlemen.
